When Travis Barker started Famous Stars and Straps, he had no idea what he was doing…

…he just had a vision: “I wanted to do something that didn’t exist yet, something that came out of my lifestyle.” Travis was heavily influenced by skateboarding, BMX, cars, tattoos, rap, metal and punk music, and there wasn’t a brand out there that encapsulated all of those lifestyles. In 1999 with $1500, Famous Stars and Straps was born.
